Gayle Scott, LMT - Profile

Education: Graduate of East West College, Portland, Oregon, 1992 (specific to massage)
Certifications: Deep Tissue for Extremities;
Compassionate Touch for the Elderly and Ill;
Side Lying Massage;
Prenatal Massage;
Facilitated Stretching;
Spa Massage;
Infectious Disease Awareness.
Specialties: I narrowed my area of focus to Geriatric Massage in 1994. I have been part of the Touchmark Health & Fitness Club team since February 2005.
Personal interests: Being the best mom I can be to my three children. I also enjoy running, knitting, drawing, reading, and cooking.

Fitness philosophy: Becoming physically fit and staying fit takes consistent work, but be sure to inject as much fun and variety into your exercise as you can to keep you going. Set attainable goals (keeping in mind your age and any true physical limitations), participate in classes, and maybe even find a workout partner. If you are enjoying yourself along the way, you will be more inclined to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle. It’s never too late to start and, again, have some fun!

Marianne Banke, Qigong Instructor - Profile

Education Master of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
Certifications: Certified Qigong teacher; teacher of self-defense for women and children; licensed acupuncturist in Oregon and Washington; CPR.
Specialties: Simplified Yang-style tai chi routines consisting of 24 movements. Emphasis is on maintaining/improving health; promoting an environment of sharing and learning; building strong bones; and improving balance, self-confidence, and self-reliance. Using Qigong exercises, including breathing, to help people experience Qi (chi) and how it affects them
Personal interests: Health and healing; growing and using fruits and vegetables as part of a healthy diet; daily walks; traveling; spending time with family and friends; watching funny movies.

Kacy A. Barnett, Personal Trainer/Member Services - Profile

Jamie Wunderlich, Group Fitness/Aquatic Aerobics Instructor - Profile

Certifications: Group Fitness Instructor since 1990. Certified with Seattle Sports Medicine. Other certifications include National Exercise Trainers Association—Group Fitness, Active Older Adults; Fusion Fitness on the Ball; Zumba® Fitness, Basic Level 1; BOSU Integrated Balance Training. Specialties: Low-impact aerobics for active older adults; strength training to improve balance and core stability.

Fitness philosophy: Find an activity that you like—and enjoy fitness! The relationships we make help motivate us to a healthier lifestyle. My job is to help you reach your accomplishments and help you strengthen your body so you will be able to keep doing all the activities you love. Exercise is necessary for our physical and mental well-being. As a fitness instructor, my goal is to motivate, inspire, and improve the health, fitness, and well-being of all those I am fortunate enough to work with.

Patti Hunter, Aquatic Instructor - Profile

Education Bachelor of Arts in recreation from Washington State University.
Certifications: AEA Aquatic Fitness Instructor; Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Exercise Instructor; American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard Instructor; Ai Chi Certified; CPR-AED; Advanced First Aid.
Specialties: Aquatic conditioning; aquatic rehabilitation, including post stroke; swim instruction.
Personal interests: Faith, family, and friends. I also enjoy the lake, beach, pool, and just about everything having to do with aquatics and swimming.
